Our Collaborative Learning and Teaching spaces offer students the opportunity to excel within their schooling in a variety of contemporary learning spaces. Classrooms are co-teaching, co-planning spaces with flexible seating and furniture.
Our flexible learning spaces offer a more individualised approach to learning. Students work throughout the day in a variety of different teaching and learning senerios based around David Thornburg's (2014) philosophy of learning spaces of ;
- Campfire- Explicit Teachiing. For the time when teacher-lead direction and discussion is required.
- Watering Holes- Peer Review and Response Time. Where connection are made between peers and their learning.
- Caves- Individual Reflection- Where students can reflect and deepen their learning
